How to Apply to University in Istanbul

Choose a university and programme

Check the teaching language, fees and admission conditions on the university’s official programme pages. Deadlines and accepted diplomas or examinations can differ between universities and programmes. One document checklist may not apply to every course.

Separate application from enrolment

Prepare your passport, diploma, transcript, language certificate and examination results where required in the university’s requested format. Check translation and equivalency requirements with the institution. After acceptance, follow current instructions for final registration, payment and original documents.

Housing and student residence

Identify the actual campus address before comparing accommodation and daily travel. University enrolment and a student residence permit are separate processes. Consult the international office and Migration Management about student documents, your address and the requirements for your circumstances.
